Best Naija Rap Lines in 2012 [M.I, Vector, Yung6ix, etc] make list!

you can join mmm by clicking on this link. MMM easy way to make money.

Gone are the days of Eedris Abdul Kareem, when we had to make do with some "shigidimigidirigidibidi" kinda rap, well thanks to Rugged man, we didn't have to tolerate such nonsense for long. With the desperation for commercial success, some rappers have stopped paying attention for their lyrics (Eldee, Dr Sid), while some still prefer to be ............ and be awesome lyricist (Mode 9), on the other hand some have the finesse to combine both and do it in an awesome way (Ice Prince, M.I, Naeto C, etc). Well regardless, as much as i wanna get high and dance my a$$ out when i club while some meaningless songs with dance-able beat, but trash lyrics come on, i also want some quite time with a beautiful song, relax, pay attention to the lyrics and identify with the personality behind the song and admire the poetry. So all i ask from our artiste is to respect their fans and give us quality music instead of all the worth-not  we hear that sounds like one long song. During my quite time, "me my head phone and i" i noticed some amazing lines that just shows that we still have rappers that think and still believe we listeners have a right to quality lyrics. These are just few of the numerous.

·         Punch lines like a typist, this rap shit finally working out Biceps – M.I.

·         Dreams are funny cos you’ve got to chase it, then pace it, face it, embrace it, the hustle’s never   wasting – Some Multis – Kaynon

·         They say I’m the next up… The top is my next stop… I won’t and I can’t stop… If u dey vex, abeg stop… killing every gang spot… In finding the top five… I’m sitting on top of that table, desktop – Loose Kaynon

·          I’m zooming the Illusions of blowing up the defusion but the force of my intrusion will be worth every newton – Loose Kaynon

·         My nigga M.I told me, we got to (aim high)… They can’t take what’s yours but it’s fun to watch them try – Loose Kaynon

·          Ladies love diamonds… and stars look alike… so it’s evident why supermodels hook up with my type – 5 mics

·         Swagger and composure… I’m just such a poser… I’m always picture perfect to the negative exposure – M.I

      ·        King of the south and his name wasn’t T.I, Multiply while they was hoping that we die, so fly I land, no V.I. - @yung6ix

[The Rap X-Ray]: Cassidy's "Meek Mill Diss" Me, Myself, and Iphone

A few days ago, Cassidy took to the studio after comments by Meek Mill over his single "Condom Style" on Instagram, where Meek described Cassidy's joint as the worst song in rap history, thereby re-sparking a feud that has existed for a while now, hence the birth of "Me, myself and Iphone" where Cass addresses controversies concerning his joint, "Condom Style", his relationship with Swizz beatz, and a well-structured attack at Meek Mill. Credit tho, should be given to this Philadelphia native, cos he took the whole concept of a diss track, to a whole new level, making use of phone conversations... Dope, I must say.
Rapgeek does a breakdown of the single and outlines the dopest lines on that joint... Hang on, this is about to be one helluva ride.
Note: The lines in quotes, are statements from the other end of the phone line

"That's my word, you been spittin’ the truth...Nothin’ but punch lines every time you get in the booth"

"You ain’t dropped an album in a while, you the problem child"… chill, I’m still a problem but I’m not a child

"I ain’t tryna hate but why you make that song, condom style?" Too many people got infected, u gotta protect them… And I cannot neglect that, somebody gotta address that

"It’s a positive message… but I don’t think it was hot"… whether you think it’s hot or not, u gotta respect it… you mad that I’m not talking reckless… I dropped the record and got an endorsement deal, so I’m not affected

I’m spitting fire; I’m tired of this weak shit… "Me too, but what you gon do bout this Meek shit"

He said he wanted to battle em niggas… but when I took him up on his offer, he started to reconsider

“That cat lame, on every song he rap the same... That cat changed, he got a deal and don't act the same”

That nigga wiling, cos he sold a couple o’ hundred thousand… but I sold triple what that nigga sold on my first album

"He not selling, cos that nigga can’t stop yelling… He know he can’t fuck with you, that nigga look up to you"

I was around when that clown couldn’t even get his braids done

"Why he drop that Boss shit?" Cos his boss say “he a BAUCE” and he just on his boss dick

I usually don’t get mad, but I had enough… When he dropped that song “amen”, that was blaphemous... (this line had some truth in it though)

Your guess is as good as mine, Meek Mill was well trashed... but he also has taken his time to reply with a joint "Repo"... Expect the X-Ray soon from Rapgeek... Let's find out if it was good enough a reply.

Meet OMIS, The Next Big Thing In The Nigerian Music Industry

OMIS, also known as Omilani Seun is an emerging, versatile lyricist who is dedicated to his craft. This talented wonder-kid is gradually becoming a force to be reckoned with in Nigeria’s music industry. In an industry known for its wealth in upcoming talents, this young dude has proven beyond every reasonable doubt that he’s got what it takes to be that light at the end of the tunnel. This is another talent emerging from the prestigious UNILAG.
Highly influenced by rap artistes M.I. & Eminem and he’s also known for his extensive lyrical depth, commercial appeal, apt delivery & intricate wordplay. OMIS is set to take the rap game by surprise.
With labels closely watching this kid, OMIS is currently unsigned and working on his current mixtape. Fasten your seatbelts fellaz, cos in no time at all, you'll be swept off your feet by this promising act.
Here are just a couple of dope lines he dropped on his last studio effort, where he murdered Davido's "All of You" soundtrack:
S** with a bitch on a beach, ain’t that a threesome?
You’re badder than if you really get your dough right… You’re even badder if your girlfriend’s like snow white
You couldn’t even reach me if I was taking a nap… I’m never taking back, I’m steady wrecking the track
See I’m bad like that, when I rap like that… Like Julius Agwu, walahi, ribs a’ crack like that, When I knack, they all say they wanna knack like that… Davido, tell ‘em who else is bad like that
Can’t ball, they be hating from the sidelines… I’ll make u call a friend, like u’ve got a life…

Here are a couple of his songs

[PHOTOS]: Rick Ross Tattoos Analysed in Bits!

In the rap industry, there seems to be a competition of who has the most ink on his body, its kinda hard to tell, i mean you see lil wayne and you're like that is gotta be the most, and the next minuite Wiz Khalifa pops up and you shifting grounds, but then again Rozay who is about 3 times bigger than the average american rapper is not about to be left out.

Ricky Rozay is one massive piece (Body size) and its a whole lot of space for ink. He himself has lost count of the number of tattoos he has, all he can say is its over 100. Well the attention is not on the number of tattoos alone, but what tattoos are actually read on his body. He seems to have a thing for the faces of dead politicians on the dollar bills. He has the face of dead presidents like, George Washington, Lincoln, Ulysses S. Grant. And also got the face of Obama on his ribs, saying he thinks he'll be the first president on the thousand dollar bill.

[NEW TRACK]: Cassidy disses Meek Mill on "Me, Myself, and Iphone"

Following Meek Mill's rant on instagram, bout Cassidy's last single "Condom style", an old feud has been rekindled between these two philadelphia natives. Meek Mill described "Condom style", which is a mixtape of Psy's Gangnam style; as the worst song in rap history.
Cassidy didn't take this likely, and reverted to the studio where he addresses the reasons behind the release of Condom style, described his relationship with Swizz beatz and also took a moment to properly diss Meek Mill.
This track is not just one of the regular disses you listen to, but was structured in form of phone conversations (CREATIVE). It's a must listen to. Should we expect something from Meek Mill soon? I should think so.... following their recent rant on twitter after the joint dropped
Meek, we also expect something really DOPE from u, cos Cass sure killed u on this... Goodluck in the studio, Meek

[DOWNLOAD] Top 10 "Rap Beats (Instrumentals)" made in 2012

The rap game has witnessed great songz in the year 2012 and as much as you wanna recognize the impressive emcees, the producers themselves should also receive some accolade, cause they are truly the real “Hitmakers” cause without them, then there’s no record. In recognition, I came up with a list of top 10 beats we just couldn’t get enough of in 2012. All of these beatz have been covered by so many other artist like Tyga in his mixtape “187” covered “clique, swimming pool, young and getting it, don’t like, hold me back”. Fellow young money rapper also rapped on “so sophisticated” and kanye included “don’t like” by Chief Keef in his G.O.O.D music album. I could keep going on and on with other A-list artiste that have covered these beats. Well, I see upcoming acts wanting to jump on these beats, but don’t know how to get them!!! Here they are (in no particular order), download and spit on ‘em.

1] Swimming pool – Kendrick Lamar [Produced by T- “Minus”]

2] Pop that – French Montana ft drake, Rick Ross and Lil Wayne [Produced by “Lee Beats”]

3] Clique – Kanye west feat. Big Sean, Gunplay, Lil Wayne, Jay Z [Produced by “Hit-Boy”]

4] Mercy – Kanye West feat. Big Sean, 2Chainz, Pusha T [Produced by “Lifted”]

5] The One – Kanye West feat. Big Sean, 2Chainz, Marsha Ambrosius [Produced by “Kanye West”]

Game & Big Boi First-Week Sales Projections

Even though it's been less than 24 hours since Game and Big Boi released their respective albums Jesus Piece and Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors, it looks like the first-week sales projections have already been tallied.
According to SOHH, Game's fifth and final album with Interscope Jesus Piece is on track to debut to the tune of 80,000 copies sold. The album features a host of collaborations with the likes of Kanye West, Rick Ross, Kendrick Lamar and others.
If you ask me, this is AWESOME. Plus we shouldn't be surprised, cos after those 35 lines from the album leaked, this sorta album success was expected. Fantastic!!!
In other news, The Versed reports that Big Boi's sophomore solo record Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors is expected to debut to between 25,000 and 30,000 copies sold. The Outkast rapper's previous effort, Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty bowed out at 62,000 copies sold in its first week.

T.I. Names His Top Four Favorite Rappers

With his new album Trouble Man on the way, T.I. has been making the media rounds, most recently sitting down for an interview with L.A. Leakers. During the chat, Tip spoke on his collaboration with Andre 3000, "Sorry," which has been hailed as a standout cut from the project.
He said that Three Stacks is one of his favorite emcees, but went ahead and listed others that he considers of that caliber. "He's in the top three or four," he said. "You gotta give Eminem, [Jay-Z], Three Stacks, Lil Wayne. You cannot disregard [Andre's] contribution and his skill set. You got to acknowledge that."
In my own opinion, T.I has made no bad choice... He definitely knows what it takes to be an outstanding emcee. Thumbs up, T.I.
Trouble Man, releasing on December 18th, features guest appearances from a slew of artists including A$AP Rocky, Pink, Cee Lo Green and more.

Maybach Music Group moving to Atlantic Records - says Rick Ross

Following chatter of Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group possibly moving to Atlantic Records, the label news was confirmed earlier today (December 11) when the full video footage of Ross’ interview with Miami’s 99 Jamz hit the internet.
The MMG head honcho seemed quite confident in his announcement made on-air and even referred to the label change as being “the biggest move of the year.”
“I got another announcement as well. I’m excited for this year we got coming up man. This is really huge. MMG we just merged with Atlantic Records. It’s the biggest move of the year. We gonna leave it right there,” Rick Ross revealed in a video posted on HipHop-n-More.com. “I’m signed as a solo artist to Def Jam. And Meek Mill, Wale, we all MMG at the end of the day.”
Ironically, Atlanta rapper Young Jeezy, who Ross has feuded with in the past, became the Senior VP of A&R at Atlantic Records back in August of this year. Ross also commented on Jeezy prior to making the Atlantic Records announcement, but his words weren’t as cheerful.
“It's not personal, but if I see Young Jeezy again, will I try to choke him?  I don't know. That's an option,” said Ross.
Prior to moving to Atlantic Records, Maybach Music Group was distributed via Warner Bros. Records

[Video] Marquez's terrifying Knockout punch that took Pacquiao to sleep!

One of the most devastating punch in boxing history renders what was supposed to be a close encounter a rather drab 6 rounded affair. That being said, not to take anything away from Marquez who had his nose broken earlier in round 5 landed a hard right on Pacquiao in the 6th round (2:59) which hurt so bad Pacman needed the assistance of the medical team to get up. I can't describe it enough, you have to see for yourself.

IMAGE of the Day: Jay Z - be inspired!

[Video] Game ends beef with Jay Z, says baby mama was a Jay Z fan!

Jay Z arguably one of the best rappers of all time, have endured some dis tracks from the most reckless rapper out of Compton “Game”. This dis started when Game in his track “one blood” off his Documentary album said and I quote “you 38 and you still rapping uhhhhh!” now I don’t know how true that is cause I felt Jay was having a rather smooth time as at the time of this record, but looks like game was just trying to get some popularity off dissing one of hip hop’s most valuable player. Jay Z smart as ever initially was quite, but in some sort responded in his single “kingdom come” saying “I used to think rapping at 38 was ill, till last year I grossed about 38 mills” don’t you just love Jay? #Boss. Trust me there’s no better way to respond to such dis than to brag especially if you the CEO of Roc Nation, Roca wear, and sealing a whole lot of business deals. Jay Z is one of the best braggers in the rap game, “I mean until Rick Ross came through”. Anyways, in an interview with vibe magazine, Game whose “Jesus Piece” album is due to drop December 11 shed more light on the “beef” he had with Jay Z. When asked about the dis and Jay Z not having to respond for most of it, he had this to say
“No 1, he’s smart, I think he knows that I’m reckless and there’s nothing I can’t say but he has to be filtered cause he’s more of a businessman and he’s a little bit older and he’s doing all his business deals, so he can’t really go as reckless as I can, but once I go I’m gone plus Jay in his own right respects me as a lyricist”

Pacquiao Vs Juan Manuel Marquez "battle for superiority"

Its fight no 4 as Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez head into the ring of MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas to settle one of the biggest rivalry in boxing history. It’s more like the battle of superiority in this bout as there has been no clear winner in previous three fights even though Pacquiao has won 2 and drawing 1. Both fighters have openly stated that it’s not about winning, but about winning convincingly and put an end to all doubts and speculations about who the better fighter is. Pacman's strength which is his quickness would be looking to flaw Marquez's resilience, and a unanimous decisions might not be the case tonight as Pacman and marquez have stated that they would both be going for the KO. In what has been tagged the most anticipated fight of the year 2012, Pacquiao still unbeaten against his challenger is looking out for what he calls a “quick fight” not going past round 4 *hey Pac you Tyson?*. The HBO pay-per-view fight airs live on Saturday, December 8 at 9PMET/6PM PT. “Don’t Miss it for all the teacups in china”!!!
